My name is Blake Viens,  owner operator at V7 Automotive. I graduated Valedictorian from Universal Technical Institute (UTI) in 2002. I was then accepted to PTAP (Porsche Technology Apprenticeship Program) and moved to Georgia early Summer of 2003. Over the next 6 months I received specialized training at the Porsche Cars North America Headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia. After graduation, I was recruited by Carrera Motors in Bend, Oregon and moved across the country to start my Career as a Certified Porsche technician. Though my education at UTI, and PTAP helped shape my skills, my background and experience with cars started WAY before my time at UTI. I have been building, repairing, restoring, buying and selling VW's with my Dad since I could walk. I have over 23 years of formal repair shop experience working on Porsche, Volkswagen, Audi, BMW and Mercedes, but my years of experience working on early Volkswagen's greatly exceeds that.
